Giving

Our church does not have a paid staff, not even our pastor. At Cornerstone, we serve as volunteers. We do not collect offerings publicly, nor ask for money during our services. We spend the church income in ministries, missions, benevolence, and operating expenses (utilities and services). Our books are open and auditable upon request.

We believe that the New Testament teaches Christians to give from our resources to promote the work of the ministry. We believe that giving is to be made freely, joyfully, generously, proportionate to what we are able and not under compulsion, or constraint because God loves the cheerful giver. Nobody from our church will ask anyone for money, donations or offerings of any kind whatsoever, except when publicly announced and for very specific causes. This happens very rarely.
